One world lounge (multiple ffp)

Hello all, new to the forum and reasonably switched on with FFPs but a little unsure of my query. Hopefully someone has done similar or can help out.

I'm a FFP member with both BA (silver, one world sapphire) and QANTAS (bronze). I've got an upcoming booking flying QANTAS metal from LHR to AKL, I want to be sure I can use the one world lounges in LHR DXB SYD & AKL and as far as I'm aware I should be able to with my BA / one world status. At the moment my booking is registered with BA frequent flyer number, however if I changed it to my QANTAS ffp no to earn QANTAS points (at a much higher rate) would I still be granted lounge access through my BA based one world status?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

As I understand it, yes, but I would take along your silver card, just to be sure. You can have multiple status with one airline, through an alliance.

Qantas has been having issues lately, caused by problems with the alliance with EK, where they are forcing people to use the same number on the booking as they need for lounge access.
If you try to enter a QF lounge using the higher BA status and the QF number on the booking, they'll try to make you change the number on the booking to the BA number.

They may try to, even though this is incorrect.

Currently this needs to be the case with QF/EK travel but not with oneworld(*O) travel.

The problem is the the lounge agents are confusing *O and EK for the lounge access rules.
