Taking UL on 1st May...

Things seem to be rather quiet and low fanfare for UL's entry into Oneworld on 1st May. Which worries me cos I'm booked to leave at 955am from Singapore to CMB. I can't enter my AA FFP now and I've just been told to just 'show my FFP' at the airport at time of check in.

I hope everything goes smoothly.. Wonder if they'll start the double miles promo with UL too. Alas my flight is probably too early in the game to take advantage of this.

Just came across this- suspect the double promo pages could be active today- look to hear on your UL OW experience, Enjoy!

Anyone knows how to find award availability on UL? Does not seem to be loaded to BA.com yet.

UL Award Booking Classes are U/X and they are now supported in the KVS Tool:

It's available via the Qantas award search, not BA.com yet. Any screen scraping tool is getting the data from QF.

Why didn't you check AAdvantage website just prior to your flight, since you knew it was the first day of UL in OW? It happened the same when US joined. Promos were posted the day they joined...
FWIW, you could always try registering for the promo today, might be lucky since your miles have not posted yet.

My exclamation is that the promo begins on 15th May and I flew them yesterday. BTW there was nothing on AA's webpage prior to 1st May. I was trying to see who to credit the flights to too. But settled for AA as I was hoping for at least the Plat bonus. But alas they're not participating in that.

They don't seem to be particularly on the ball on this front - neither the UL or AY websites will let me enter my BAEC #for a UL booking.

Taking UL on 1st May...

My boarding pass doesn't show the CX number that I'd given to the agent at check-in. Just asked and the lounge agent does see my number in the system (though she did have to see my card for the status 'Emerald, right?'- guess the tie-in with partners is a WIP for now...

Looks like UL have got round to updating their website - just been able to update our BAEC numbers into a booking using the MMB function on the UL website ^
