Any thoughts on best CDG lounge for OWE?
Will be departing AA in J but I am Exex Plat so I will have access to BA F and CX F lounges, presuming they are open.
thanks!

nachosdelux, I haven't been through CDG recently, but I can definitively tell you that the CX lounge is better than BA's - not least because BA don't have one! However, having had the memsahib check them out last year, she tells me that CX is still better than the only other oneworld-operated alternative, which is the AA Admiral's Club - which is as woeful as Admiral's Clubs usually are.
You can read a review of the CX lounge here: http://www.ausbt.com.au/cathay-pacif...unge-paris-cdg.
Note there is no F/J distinction as it is a combined lounge.

MH/F lounge - Air France Salon Premiere?
Flying CDG-KUL on MH/F in a few weeks and trying to figure out lounge access. Everything I've read says the designated lounge is the contract ICARE lounge in Term 1. However, the loungefinder on the OW website seems to suggest the designated lounge is Air France's Salon Premiere, which I believe is their F lounge (and looks amazing).
I must be misunderstanding something. Can someone clarify? Thanks.

The AF "La premiere" lounge that MH uses in T1 is NOT the AF First Class lounge (which is in T2E...), although the verbiage may suggest such a thing.
Here's what I wrote about it in another thread:. Definitely try the champagne!
Good for smokers: there's an outside terrace.

Yes, it's an AF managed F lounge for third party airlines at T1 CDG. The Icare lounge is not that great and appears to get the J and OWS MH passengers, you should be able to get the AF Managed Premiere lounge with MH F or OWE, they use both lounges. It's better than the Icare lounge and as bhomburg mentions it offers champagne too, but it's quite a traditional airline lounge and I wouldn't arrive too early to try it out.

Used the Extime Lounge at T2 CDG yesterday, easy enough, but:
-Signage is near non-existent. The entry has overhead one sign that is very easy to miss because it’s end on to anyone entering the retail section. It’s located after security but before passport check, you wander the short duty-free lazy river and get dumped into a small retail section, AA B gates are to the right, but to get to the lounge is almost straight ahead, down a corridor to a lift…look between Relay and LaDure.
-Lounge is small, and has limited facilities, but was not busy at 9-10AM on a Monday.
-Passport Control is literally 3 minutes from Lounge exit, but likely will have a delay of 5-10+ minutes to clear. Limited retail beyond this.
