Red face OW Emerald Lounge Access in NRT for JL

I am traveling LAX-NRT on AA in C this week. The onward NRT-SIN flight is an AA codeshare flight# on JL metal in Y class. Will JL allow me to use their FC lounge while transiting in NRT with my OW Emerald Status ? I didn't find anything on the JL website about oneworld privileges in English.

Also, one additional question, will AA allow me to use the Flagship Lounge in LAX? Below is what I pulled out of the AA site, but I was wondering if I need to specifically ask for this privilege?

American Airlines AAdvantage Executive Platinum customers when departing on or connecting to an international* flight, operated and marketed by a oneworld airline, regardless of cabin flown

Lax, yes.. Not sure abt NRT. They should also let you unless they have a special FC lounge for JAL FC customers like the Concorde Room with BA

I believe JL has both a FC lounge and a Business lounge at NRT.

As a OW emerald, you can use JL's first class lounge at NRT.
As a CX DM, I usually use JL's FC lounge at NRT and HND.

However, since introduction of CX's HND-HKG flight,
I have seldom used ex-NRT flights. So, my last experience of NRT's FC lounge was December 2012.

Yes, you can use JL's F lounges in NRT as OWE. Hope you time for the massage.

Yes you can use the first lounge. Although they usually like to point people in the direction of the business lounge. You might need to specifically ask and show them your card.

Get yourself a 10 minute shoulder massage.

My experience is completely the opposite - the lounge staff have always pointed me in the direction of the F lounge and in many cases almost walked me into it.

Thanks for the advice. I have a 2 hour layover in NRT so hopefully I have time to get a quick shower and a massage in the JL First lounge.

Just a follow up to this posting. I was able to get into the Flagship Lounge in LAX as well as JAL's FC Lounge in Narita without hiccup. In fact, when you check in in Narita, the JAL boarding pass automatically prints "First Class Lounge" on it. Also I got a preferred seat on the JAL NRT-SIN flight near the front.

The JAL Lounge is nice..nothing spectacular.
