QF LHR-DXB on old AONEX?

I currently have an AONE3 issued in Oct 2012. The last flight is LHR-DXB on BA (ticket terminates in DXB). Can I change it to QF LHR-DXB (QF2 or QF10)? if so, will there be a change fee?
Normally, as I understand, there should be no change fee for airline change on the same route, but i'm not sure if this flight is tied in to EK and maybe not eligible for wider OW usage?
thanks

QF flights 2 & 10 are operated by QF, so no problems there. QF or BA may charge a local admin fee (maybe 25 GBP) to redo that segment, but it is not the one world change fee. If it was issued by AA, you should be able to avoid any fees, especially if AA EXP.
