Oneworld Lounge option in SIN

The other day I was in SIN and the attendant at the old QF/BA F class lounge told me there will be. bA F class lounge and a QF J class lounge going forward. The old QF/BA F class lounge is still in operation - currently it is branded as a J class lounge.

So nothing has changed regarding drinks, food and service from what it was when it had F on the door - ie it is now recognising how substandard it was when it was indeed a F lounge.

Interesting. The official QF position is "due to open 31 March 2013. The Qantas Singapore Lounge will feature a new standard of luxury for you to enjoy, and will replace the current Qantas and British Airways First Lounge." It used to be called "Qantas F Lounge" and an upgrade over the old F lounge. Presumably it will now be J branded making it the nicest QF J lounge in the world (?). But then qantas.com still says that the old QF F lounge is closed for construction as the new "QF Sin Lounge" referenced above is being built in its floor space. I suppose it will all be revealed in a few weeks.

I noticed the champagne is a subgrade no more bollinger
Also hot food offerings have been reduced
They just removed the FIRST logo from the front door but not the wall behind reception

However when tr new QF J class lounge open this lounge will be branded BA F class. Don't think they will do any renovation thou

Still much better than the Skyview Lounge
