Hmm..This week the lady at the transit check at T-5 insisted I go
through Fast Track for security at T-5 since I am Emerald via AA Exec
Plat...So I think they already gave this benefit..

Such a shame that this is only on offer to the new and exclusive 'emarald' tier of oneworld frequent flyers - http://www.oneworld.com/ffp/emarald-privileges/

It still seems like the baggage issue means that those on OWS would be better off getting *G for the baggage benefits. If only they could stretch it down to OWS as well..

For the AA part, I don't really get it. AA already has Priority AAccess in most airports, which is open to all OW elites, so why list only some of them?

This could just be what is confirmed and everyone agrees to. Anything extra is whatever that airline feels like doing (eg, AA giving all OW elites, even Ruby, free baggage, and not just saying "not AA elite, pay up").

I see...still, OW could have listed all the AA airports that have Priority AAccess, if AA agrees, and remove them when AA decides to stop giving it to OW elites.

Exactly my thoughts as well.

OW just shot itself in the foot with this one. Emerald level just to get an extra bag? What a joke...

They really need to bring this down to OWS level if they want to be serious.
