LAN RTW ticketing question

Does anyone have any experience with a OWE when LAN is the ticketing carrier? How convenient are they to deal with with ongoing changes? Do you have to call reservations in Santiago? My spanish is poor. I expect to have many changes after departure.

I've only used AA at the ticketing agent so far

Only once have I dealt with LA over the phone in ( I presume ) SCL and the operator's English was good. We dealt with the particular issue without any problems.

Was it a RTW ticket or a regular reservation?

Changing AONEx tickets with LA was such a nightmare for me a few years ago that I've avoided doing that ever again. ymmv but at the time they made IB look angelic. Probably improved since then, certainly couldn't get worse.

That's exactly what I was afraid of. Thanks.
