BA or Qantas in J?
Hi,
I'm going to have to do some travel in the near future between Singapore and Sydney. Unfortunately it doesn't make much sense to fly up to HKG and back down to SYD, so I'm looking for direct flights. Both Qantas and BA have non-stops from SIN to SYD. Which of the two has the better business product between those two locations? Also, it looks like miles are earned at roughly the same rate between the two. Is that correct?
Thanks!

Food is generally better on QF and you also get PJs.
Depends on your preferance, but the BA seat used to be generally better than QF. You may need to be a bit more selective on which particular QF flight you take. The A380 has lie flat (normally operates the QF1/2) though on the QF 6/5 it is a B747-400 that is normally operated with an angled bed. Some B747s have been fitted with lie flat but the a/c that operates frm SYD>SIN>FRA (QF5/6) generally appears not to have been.
There's some info here about the B747 refurb:- You can probably find more if you search hard enough.

Depends too if you like flying on an A380 (QUIET) or a B747 (intimate bubble or pointy end feel).
Frankly, having done all 3 but not for 4 months, although the CX crew can be a bit haughty I prefer CX over QF or BA.

Also, I still haven't tried a 380 in J yet.I definitely prefer CX also, but don't want to add at least 3 hours and a transfer just to use them for this flight.
