Lone2 ticket

I am a noob when it comes to OW, haven't flown on a OW airline in years.

I have a work trip coming up to South America, my first city is PTY where Copa dominates, after that will be heading to Ecuador or Peru, not sure which will be first just yet

My itinerary below, changes are possible and dates are flexible

June 8th
PTY - UIO/GYE/LIM (most likely would have to be on COPA)

July 13th (This is where my LONE2 starts)
UIO/GYE - LIM
or
LIM - UIO/GYE

July 17th
LIM/GYE/UIO - SCL

July 21st
SCL-IQQ

July 29th
IQQ-SCL
SCL-EZE

July 4th (would buy separate as no OW operating this route)
EZE-GRU

July 8th (would buy separate as no OW carriers operating domestic Brazil)
GRU-MAO

July 13th (is this possible? can I originate in SA but end in NA)
MAO-MIA

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

There is no such product as a LONE2 ticket. The "ONE" in a L/D/AONEx refers to an around-the-world itinerary in which both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans have to be crossed.

I'd recommend you go to www.oneworld.com and look at the "Visit South America" product - http://www.oneworld.com/flights/sing...south-america/ - which might be a useful starting point for you. Note that Central America is regarded as part of North America.

Do note that OP needs to travel from outside of South America to South America via a OW carrier to use the Visit South America Pass. If OP travels on COPA, this would not have been possible.
