Really? If you are on JAL can you not use Dnata?

I'm just curious as I may take JAL more often.

Dnata is not great but its not bad when its not busy.

You might be able to, I suppose, but it's one of those "operated by a third" party lounges, which usually limits access to the contracting airlines, as they could care less about OW.

good point. I forgot about the 3rd party lounge rules as before it was partly a CX lounge

I've used the Skyview lounge before QF and JL flights before, but that was before CX pulled out of the joint operation. (Once did an overnight in that lounge before a morning QF flight to PER during a HEL-LHR-DXB-LHR-HKG-NRT-SIN-PER-MEL mileage run)
