Aadvantage miles between SIN and KUL

Trying to figure out if there is any way of getting Aadvantage miles in this sector. The search on One World website brings out 2 QF options, but when you try to book the flight, it redirects to the JetStar website. So i am guessing these flights will be booked as Jetstar, and hence no One World affiliation.

Also, for now, MH is out of the picture.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

As far as Oneworld goes, only MH and 3K operate on that route and neither will credit to AA at this time. Have to wait until MH joins the alliance at the end of the year and 3K only credits to QF and only on the most expensive fares.

You could try the QF codes, though I'm not sure if they would credit to AA or if they'd even let you book under the QF code without a connecting flight into SIN. But really, not much point spending the time looking for a creditable flight for all of 20 mins in the air.

Yeah but right now no OW members fly that route, so how are you going to be able to earn it (until MH join later this year)?

Until some 3 years ago, MH had this route in F and Y only. Now C and Y. An F return SIN-KUL was equivalent to 135 $. Spending time in the MH SIN lounge was not much to write home about, but on the return, as F passenger, directed to the right, where catering, drinks and service in MH F Lounge was even better than CX F lounges at HKG.

After I quit SIN as SE Asia hub for BKK, my Enrich miles has vanished. But I really look forward to MH joining OW. I'll be happy to spend half a day beeing pampered in MH KUL F lounge.
