Damn this luggage mess! Help.
I flew into the USA On Cathay allowing tons of luggage and a fabulous flight in F. Unfortunately, one of my friends has died and I will be routing back to HKG through Mallorca Spain....Needless to say this has thrown my plans into disarray.
My question is.....I will be traveling from Mallorca on Iberia numbered flight on their small aircraft partner "air nostrum" connecting Madrid to London on Iberia. Then Finally boarding a Qantas flight in F to Singapore. My current status is Sapphire with one world on American airlines.
QUESTION? How much luggage am I allowed to check? Qantas says their frequent flyers get more.....do they offer the same for one world Sapphire members? I am quite confused and last time ended up paying 300 euros in overages which were entirely avoidable had I known.
any information much appreciated!

Note under the new Most Significant Carrier rule the Air Nostrum and Iberia flights should give you the QF baggage allowance. This may need to be reminded at check in.

Thanks, I am going to try.....
Thanks:
Iberia allows for long haul business class 3 bags of up to 23KG each.....I am in Business short haul however qantas has no limit to the number of bags but a total weight limit of 40KG....
I will try to keep my weight down....I will also check three bags...of lower weights and hope for the best.....
I will let you know how I fare.
Cheers! Safe travels! NYC
