Minimum Connecting time in Khartoum?

Hi,

I'm thinking of originating a DONE5 in KRT, and am considering using a Gulf Air for the positioning flight.

The GF flight from BAH will arrive at 4h25am, and the RJ flight to AMM will depart at 05h20. This is a much cheaper ticket, but it makes for a very tight connection, which I'm not sure is wise - or even allowed.

Another alternative is to use Ethiopian Airlines - which has a flight that arrives in KRT at 01h40am. This leaves me over 3 1/2 hours for the connection - and a chance to explore the "Chief House Lounge."

Does anyone here have experience with tight connections in KRT? Who knows - maybe the airport as efficient as HEL, and 55 minutes is plenty of time?

(Of course, the presumes that GF and RJ have an interline baggage agreement, without which, the whole point is moot.)

Lastly: when bought online, which is the ticketing carrier for xONEx tickets that originate in KRT?

Thanks,

It's not a legal connection:

You wouldn't even need to do a search, you could just scroll down to find this thread:

Essentially the airport is very, very slow. There is also a very high chance you will need a visa which isn't easy to get. Even a 3.5 hours connection might be an issue.
