ACIRC22/26 routing question
I know the fare rules state that travel must be in a circular direction with one north pacific crossing and one south pacific crossing, but can i do the following as part of a BAEC TP run?
HKG-SFO-LAX-SFO-LAX-SFO-LAX-SYD-HKG (there could be many more iterations with LAX as a hub for short "First Class" hops.
HKG-SFO-LAX-SFO-LAX-SFO-LAX-SYD-HKG (there could be many more iterations with LAX as a hub for short "First Class" hops.

Your itinerary appears to be allowed by the rules in that there is nothing prohibiting flying the same segment in the same direction more than once (in other words there is no rule against your multiple SFO-LAX and LAX-SFO segments)
However there is a restriction on the number of transfers at a point
So your itinerary appears to have maxed out your visits to LAX and SFO.
As you no doubt know - you have used only 8 of the max 16 segments, and the distance of your itinerary is 20,682 according to gcm - so you still have potential to improve it.
I presume that even short hops, in A, are good TP earners (I don't know anything about the BAEC) - in which case this itinerary might be a good earner - 3 times round the SFO-LAS-LAX triangle and close to the 22K maximum of a xCIR22: HKG-SFO-las-LAX-SFO-las-LAX-SFO-las-LAX-SYD-HKG
(Note: AA starts flying SFO-LAS direct in late August; it's a 1-stop flight - via LAX
)

9B. Not more than three transfers at any one city permitted

You can do that as a TP/mileage run, but you can't use LAX, SFO, or any other stop as a stopover more than once:
For more details please check out the oneworld Circle Pacific rule sheet which may be found and downloaded from www.oneworld.com
8. A. i) Only one stopover permitted at any point.

Thanks for the rules update. I was just planning on doing turnarounds and so the SFO - LAX in a single day anyways. Might switch to JFK-BOS as it's less miles to burn.
