Mileage runnnnnn

Im a Finnair plus member and i'm just a basic member, but looking into mile running, as i always reach close to achieving status and i was wondering, being a newb when it comes to this, what would be a good route to fly with one world airlines to get as many miles as possible, for Silver-level or Oneworld ruby, 40 000 'points' are needed (1 point per kilometre), based in HEL.

Thanks

Thanks for the response, ive been reading them for a while, but most of the posts are about american domestic flights and such, or then on another airline. I would like a clear image of a route that provides a lot of miles, maybe not based on price/mile, more on convenience

You need to watch and watch and watch - I seem to recall a post in the MR forum earlier this year for Talinin-HEL-TLV which was pretty cheap. If you post where you are based you have more chance of getting some useful advice.

Welcome to FT Ay ay ay!

Your namesake airline has just started a HEL-SIN service - perhaps it has some opening specials?

Indeed, welcome to FT!

I'm going to let this thread stay here for the time being, but in the future (a) you should avoid cross-posting and (b) direct questions/issues related to a specific mileage plan to that plan's forum, in this case the AY board.
