Priority baggage benefit coming for elites?

Several months ago JAL's priority luggage tags changed to a prominent pink color with a large oneworld logo on them. This got me thinking that oneworld may be moving toward an alliance-wide priority baggage benefit with standard priority tags across the alliance (like Star).

However, the OW benefits guide that was sent to JAL elites in April (for the year through March 2012) does not mention priority luggage handling.

Does anyone know if priority baggage will soon become a benefit of OW? Are other OW airlines switching to the pink OW priority tags like JAL?

Yes, I confirmed with one of the VPs at oneworld last year and they said they were "in the process of designing and implementing a standardized priority tag".

Which in many non-Asian countries means they come out after the bags without the brightly coloured tags.
I have given up with the priority tags to some destinations (Australia and NZ) and noting I get my bags just as fast or slightly before elite priority bags.

I'm not too impressed with priority anyway. About half the time my bag comes out in the first 25% or so. Sunday it was dead last. (DFW-ICT). One thing I hope for is that it will always make the flight. So far, so good in that department.

I flew yesterday HEL-NRT on AY, the priority baggage tags were sorta orange with big Oneworld logo and PRIORITY written on them. At the end a black bar which had the Finnair logo. Both bags were waiting for us when we had cleared the immigration, which didn't take long.

Is there any talk for a uniform bag policy across the alliance?
