One World in J - Itinerary Help
I wanted to ask for some input. I am looking to use AA miles to do a 25k bracket One World Trip in J class, hopefully in April or May. The following are essential destinations, starting in CLT: MEX, SCL, EZE, MEL. The following would be potential additional fun stops: LPB, AKL, SYD. I am AA Platinum.
My main question is getting from South America to Oz. Based on J service and likelihood of actually being able to get an award ticket, would I be best to try SCL-AKL on LAN and then pick up QF to MEL? Or would I be best to try EZE-SYD on Qantas and then go to MEL? I have significant flexibility on dates, but thought others might have some input as to which route I should explore first, especially considering which product is better for the long haul (QF or LA) and the potential availability.
Many thanks!

If you are well in advance you may get a seat on QF out of EZE and providing its not high season. This is the best routing , only one tsfr iso 2 tfrs if tvlg with LAN.
Logon or call QF and see if they have any seats avail for FF , theyw ill tell you .
I am not sure if you will be lucky with LAN but I think the service on QF is better , Lan may have flat beds but i am not sure where on this route Qf have anlged flat beds.
My pref would be QF , sometimes that a/craft has a 1st class cabin fitted also that is used as J class so once you are confirmed try to see the seat map or call QF and if the config is 1 2 1 in the front try and sit in that cabin
