"American Airlines yesterday announced new daily flights to and from Budapest's Ferihegy to New York's JFK from early 2011. Ferihegy airport operator Budapest Airport (BA) had been working on the agreement with the US airline for more than two years. Tickets for Budapest-New York flights can be purchased from next week, BA communication director Mihly Hardy said. American Airlines, which is also a member of the Oneworld Alliance, sees Budapest as a gateway to other parts of Europe. (XPat Loop - Hungary Around the Clock)
