Does anyone know if OW will match Skyteam promotion?
Hi all,
I truly miss the OW 10th anniversary deals, and now Skyteam has their own celebration.
I'm planning my fourth (cough) RTW this year and wondering if OW does and/or plans to match these "5-30% discount" fares?

The SkyTeam fares (before discount) are already higher than the Oneworld fares to begin with (F/J ex-Canada as an example). I think with the SkyTeam discount, the fares will then be closer to those of Oneworld.

Speculation: No OW matching.
Facts: In addition to the lower OW pricing, SkyTeam limitations on this promotion include MPM of 20,000 miles (you can't even do JFK-SYD-LHR-JFK), only 5 stopovers, and maximum duration is 6 months. Not much of a promo IMO.
Hardly a threat or competitive when it comes to OW's max of 15 stopovers, no MPM limit, and max duration of 12 months.
