Try this link--it's from the stickie with "useful links" (IIRC) in the title. Not the first one or the bugs one:
RTW longest routings [16 segments]
See what you can do, and be sure to post if you come up with anything awesome. I'm pretty happy with my DONE3 that is 54 and change.
Sorry, when I previewed my post, the link isn't active, so just go to the sticky and you can click on the active link to the thread from there.

And if yes, do you want BIS miles, EQM? F Miles? From where do you start? What time of the year (ANC!)?

It may also be important for maximising the amenity from various F lounges. For instance, a lengthy period in the SYD Flounge may be more attractive than, lets say the CX BKK or ICN F/J lounge. Likewise, the BA LHR T5 F (or Concorde) lounge may be a touch nicer than the FRA BA F lounge (if there is such a thing).

Oh, and there is no BA F lounge in FRA.

sorry...
... for the confusion; i have been using *A so far.
DownUnderFlyer;14275503]What is an FONEW3 ticket? You mean an AONE3 (First Class oneworld Explorer RTW 3 Continent)?
yes, AONE3..
And if yes, do you want BIS miles, EQM? F Miles?
BIS miles (what are F miles?)
From where do you start?
NRT (or is there any country with more competative prices?)
What time of the year (ANC!)?
like october...
thanks for your input!

Japan is good an AONE4 ex South Africa is still cheaper.
If you want to maximise BIS miles then this is something very different than maximising miles actually flown in F, as most routes don't have (proper) F anymore. Or maximising the lounge experience which is much better on OW than Star Alliance.
Usually people don't want to maximise BIS miles on a AONEx but want to maximise the F experience.
So BIS from NRT could be something like this:
NRT-DEL-HKG-BOM-HKG-LHR-MCT-AMM-LHR-LAX-SJU-ORD-SEA-DFW-BGI-JFK-NRT (50548 miles)
The North American routes change all the time so LAX-SJU or flights to/from BGI might not be there all the time. But there is always something.
Or plan B:
NRT-CGK-HKG-DEL-ORD-SJU-SEA-ORD-RNO-MIA-JFK-SYD-AKL-BNE-KTA-SYD-NRT also over 50k miles.
But they are not really great if you want to enjoy F.

DownUnder: Just wondering, after being on my first *Alliance trip on first and going to lounges such as FCT in FRA and Thai's FCL in BKK, what would be your F experience maximiser? I'd imagine QF lounge in SYD and BA F lounge in LHR.. any ideal itinerary from you? =)

In terms of lounges, SYD and MEL F are great, with SYD IMHO being almost on par with the LH FCT. It has a Spa and nicer design but lacks the Porsche experience. Then of course the great CX F Lounges in HKG with Cabanas in the Wing and the good food. NRT has an excellent F lounge courtesy of JL also with free Spa treatments. And as you said, LHR of course but not the F lounge (which is still a very nice lounge) but the Concord Room.
As a rule of thumb, you find the best lounges at the carriers hubs. In Star Alliance you need to watch out all the time as the carrier only open the nice lounges for the own flights, not alliance flights. In OW they are open to everyone so you can mix and match a bit better.
So an ideal itinerary for me would include SYD/HKG/NRT/LHR for the lounges and a good dose of QF A380F, CX F and also JL F. BA F if you can get the new F as the old F is rather underwhelming.
