BA-QF Transfer at LHR. (Not recommended)

I see LHR is the sore point here.

My brother flew out of ABZ to SIN yesterday. He flew ABZ-LHR on BA and then connected to QF.

His bag is missing upon arrival in SIN. QF said they have no idea where his bag is. Apparently it could be a LHR issue as about 15 people on same QF flight don't have their bags and they checked in in LHR.

So a 1hr50min connection isn't enough from LHR T5 to T3 for a oneworld connection? Yes I know all about T5's fiasco when it first opened, but surely they would have sorted out baggage transfer issues by now?

At last count, Worldtracer, which both QF and BA uses, still cannot locate the missing bag.

Not sure if one should generalise about an entire airport from one transfer gone wrong. Maybe it is just a truck which broke down or something else which affected many bags at the same time? All my QF/BA transfers in the last year were without any problem at all.
