Duna Club Silver (Oneworld Ruby) benefits?
Hello there,
I will fly with Malev this weekend from Frankfurt to Budapest.
They have a status match offer (which expired June 30th but is still posted on their website).
Now let's say they would extend the offer or give the status match as of goodwill nevertheless, then I would get a Duna Silver (oneworld Ruby) status. I don't see the point what it's worth:
-Lounge access: only on Malev flights and not in cheap booking classes (which I booked). And I get Priority Pass Access in the Duna lounge in BUD anyway. If I understand correctly I will get no access to Lounges of other Oneworld Airlines either, i.e. if I fly to Spain with Iberia, correct?
-Extra luguage: Nice to have, but I won't need it...
-10% Extra miles? I don't fly a lot with Oneworld...
Are there any benefits I have missed?
I don't travel on Oneworld that much and will not do lot in future. Furthermore I travel on very low booking classes. Shall I better stick with LanPass or AAdvantage then and not sign up for Duna and get the status match?

Hi,
as far as i know you can get the lounge access in any booking classes at the Malev with the Ruby card. Also, you can use the business check-in counter, but there is no other benefit
by the way you have nothing to loose with that card, and the gained miles you can still use on other One World member flights

OW Ruby usually is not much use outside. Lounge access is usually only for those lounges operated by the issuer of the card. Extra luggage - if you need it, OK. Use of biz check-in desk.

When flying oneWorld airlines other than Malev, here are the benefits that Ruby entitles you to:
