Baggage allowance LoneX

Is there a alliance wide baggage allowance on LoneX tickets or do they differ from flight to flight depending on the segment and airline?

Have looked on the oneworld site without any success. In the oneworld explorer rule sheet it says "Baggage regulations - the piece system applies to passengers traveling on a oneworld Explorer fare", but there is no information on the piece system and how it works.. Is it 2 pieces a 23kg per person? Anyone able to help a novice traveler?

It depends on the airline. may be 1 or could be 2. Need to check the individual carriers which you are using. Worst case is 1 Piece

But they all honour this piece system? A couple of our segments are within the U.S (with AA), and there is zero checked baggage allowance included in domestic economy according to aa.com (They charge $25 for the first bag). Does this not apply to our (economy) L onex, meaning we get 1 for free?

Since you are on an international itinerary, I believe that you will get a free piece on domestic sectors too. AA does give free allowance internationally ( see http://www.aa.com/i18n/travelInforma...false&from=Nav )
