Oneworld Antitrust Immunity (May) Be Granted

Despite its continued and ridiculous arguments, Virgin Atlantic will find that the European Commission has absolutely no grounds on which to stop the antitrust immunity application for the oneworld partners. With the Department of Transport (DoT) already giving a defacto nod of approval, other approvals in the past done by them and the European Commission means that rejecting this deal would stink to high heaven of double standards and what little credibility the Commission has would firmly in shreds. Virgin Atlantic continues to spread its malicious venom claiming fares would rise under a British Airways and American Airlines deal, however the carrier at every single challenge fails to demonstrate how this would occur.
