When to expect OW RTW fare changes?

I am looking to book a DONE4 starting in December. Based in the Netherlands, i decided i will start in AMM, so the fare is still quite reasonable. I read in the Star Alliance forum that prices are expected to increase as per April 6th 2010. Is this expected to happen for OW as well? Or: when does OW normally change prices for their RTW products and is there anybody on this forum who can tell what is going to happen to prices ex AMM and TLV?

No-one can tell.
OW prices have typically gone up on the 1st of a month, and agents bulletins often have a few days notice, but these don't always appear here.

Asia Pac prices went up on Mar 1, so would not be surprising to see European prices move next.

Was it my imagination, or wasn't there a pretty good fare hike in November when the 10% sale expired. It seemed that fares went up significantly more than 10% (some, not all). And formerly good start points, such as Warsaw, became relatively much more expensive. I wonder how they come up with the fares? I wonder how much they could save by single-pricing the xONEx, not that I'd be in favor, but all that fare tweaking must cost a pretty penny. There's probably a thread on FT about fare structure, hopefullly a pre-school level, lol. Anyway, would a second hike in less than 6 months be likely? I'd guess yes, if they thought it would fly. Good economic news, good time to hike fares. Since I'm not a stock-holder, I'd hate it!

They had a fare increase after both of the 10% off rounds. Only in a different region each time.

FYI, past major fare hikes: May 1 2009 (ICN up 55-70%), July 1 2008 for CirPac fares (up 50-70%), Aug 1 2008 for RTW fares (up 10-16%), June 1 2007. FWIW I don't see a major fare hike on the horizon, perhaps some tweaking like they just did as mentioned by moa999. My philosophy is buy early and then you don't have to worry about it.

Generally prices only ever go up.. not down!

And for most RTW fares, they generally a tweak in their fares every May and Nov. Well that was the case way back around 2000-2005. Now, with currency depreciation, airlines can't wait to hike up the fares and 'forget' to lower them when the said currency appreciates!

I can't afford a RTW these days in coach, much less in premium classes. How sad.
