Need a run DONE4

Hello:

Unfortunately this year I will lose my Emerald one world status with AA. Due to family obligations, I will be flying on mostly free tickets and earning probably nil miles this year. I am unwilling to give up my Emerald status and want to know if there is a routing which can achieve the 68,000 Q points which will put me over the 100,000 point AA mark for exec?

I need to leave from CMB in May and Return to Bangkok in June.....A stop in NYC for a wedding is a must. Thats all I've got. Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. I have EVIP's which can upgrade me into F on AA....no problem there. The goal is Q points.

Thanking you in advance.

What's more important to you, maintaining AA ex plat or oneworld emerald?

Last time a colleague had the same issue. She called the RTW desk and explained the problem. It took a day or two for the calculations to be done but she did it. The RTW people are very cooperative with weird obsessive questions like this; after all those of us who use them are all obsessive. When I have had crazy questions I've started with the EXP desk and they usually do a hot transfer. That helps. I would say nothing about your reduction in travel, only your goals for this trip.

CMB-HKG-DEL-NRT-JFK-DFW-ANC-ORD-LAX-LHR-MCT-LHR-MEL-AKL-HKG-CMB gets you 60,125 +/- BIS, thus 90K+ EQP. You could nest a KUP run in N. America (e.g. LAX - various Caribbean destinations - LAX for under $1000) for the balance of the points.

gc.kls2.com puts that at 57314 miles, but it's only 15 segments - which did you miss out?

CMB-HKG-DEL-NRT-LAX-SJU-DFW-ANC-ORD-SFO-LHR-MCT-LHR-MEL-AKL-HKG-CMB
comes in at 60,194.

Oops. Sorry.

CMB-HKG-DEL-NRT-JFK-YVR-DFW-ANC-ORD-LAX-LHR-MCT-LHR-MEL-AKL-HKG-CMB

OP says JFK has to be included. SFO-LHR is on BA metal, so no EQPs.
