The whole point of coming on here and asking about RTW tickets was to see if it would work for what I want to do.
I've got a crew of 8 staff working on all of this for me, in addition to the foreign hosts working on other aspects.
What I think I'm going to do is just to book individual tickets. I'm fortunate in that the costs of tickets isn't an issue for me so I don't need to worry too much about advanced ticketing. The clear benefit for a RTW ticket would be that it would be a set price for the routing but I've had the places where I want to go laid out for some time but I was trying to determine what would be the best bet for purchasing a skeleton for travel with the RTW tickets and purchasing other methods of travel to get us around in the country where we want to go.
I don't think there is a point in being negative. I personally think it would be fun to help out someone else in planning what is a dream trip for most.
I understand that most people don't see the glass as half full but I appreciate everyone who has given me their perspective and thoughts on the trips and the pros/cons of RTW ticketing. Thanks again.
When the travel blog and the first show segments start to air, I'll let you guys know. Thanks again for all of the help. I really appreciate it!

It is - that's why some of us do it. I'm sorry that some of the "help" provided around here has been less than positive about your plans and that you've given up on the RTW ticket idea. Keep us posted on the plans though ....
