Strange YQ calculation on MX to EZE
NYC-MEX-EZE r/t, YQ is $290
MEX-EZE r/t, YQ is $510 (!!)

there might be other strange ones out there, but didn't bother checking. I don't even know how one would start to explain this.

Priced how?
My guess would be the first one is ticket issued by AA (which doesn't collect YQ on behalf of other carriers).
And/or there's some sales tax included for ex-MEX tickets.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)
It's MX issued, but I'm pretty sure that except for AA and maybe LA stock the YQ surcharge would be the same.
I don't think AA collects YQ.
