I am buying a rtw ticket that includes a AMM - LHR segment. I would like to purchase a AMM - DXB rtn ticket separately. (Adding DXB to the rtw ticket is not possible.) I would like to fly DXB-AMM-LHR on the same day and would like to check in in DXB for both flights (DXB - AMM and AMM to LHR) using both tickets.
RJ's Montreal office will not tell me if I can check in in DXB for my flight to LHR since I am on two separate tickets. I did call them twice and got the same person and same response both times.
I don't want to check in in DXB to AMM and need to clear customs, immigration, apply for a visa and then check in for the LHR flight. I need to be sure that I can check in in DXB for LHR before I purchase my AMM - DXB rtn flight, if RJ does not allow me to check in in DXB I would require different flight times and a longer layover or overnight layover in AMM.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Opps, part of the op was accidently deleted. I have edited the op.

RJ has airside transfer desks at AMM, so no problem getting your onward boarding pass there if they can't issue it at DXB. In any case you should be able to get the luggage checked through from DXB to LHR just by showing the second ticket, even if they can't check you in there.
But in any case, I'd be really quite surprised in you can't check in all the way through at DXB.

Thanks, christep
the bag should be through checked ok, as it is a 1W to 1W connection anyway. AMM is a small terminal anyway. You might have to ask if you need to find the RJ lounge, which is on the level above the main departure area.
