What will my baggage allowance be
So I'm off on a 6 week trip tomorrow. It's made up of 4 bookings. a LONE4 ex Auckland going USA/Europe/SWP. A SYD/WLG/AKL/SYD to get to and from the LONE4. A SFO-LAX-LAS-LAX-SFO YUPP to get some SC and a LHR-EDI-LHR because I had too many flights in the LONE4 to get everywhere I wanted to go.
All these bookings have been linked so they all show in the one itinerary. Now I just need to double check my baggage allowance as I don't want to get hit with extravagant excess baggage fees.
The way I see it. As a QF Gold and my itinerary includes a US flight I am allowed 2 check in bags each at 23 Kg. And I am allowed this for all of my flights on all the bookings.
Please let me know if my assumption is correct.
Thanks

Got a strange answer. I called up Qantas and for the LONE4 I have 2 bags everywhere as I have the US as part of the trip. For my SYD/WLG/AKL/SYD leg as long as I show my other ticket with the US I'll be able to take the two bags. Including the Jetstar flight.
For LHR-EDI-LHR BA was adamant that I was only allowed one bag but could pay extra for an additional bag and to do that I'd need to log into the BA site and pay an extra charge. Or at the airport when checking in pay a higher charge.
Not wanting to spend extra if not necessary I logged into the BA site to request an extra bag. I was surprised to see the BA system tell me that my checked baggage allowance was 3 bags, for every flight in my itinerary. I've printed out that page and will take it to the check in counter if I have any issues checking in with my two bags.
