AA MCT turnaround

Hi,

Im looking at doing a MIA-DFW-MIA turnaround in one day as part of a DONE3 ex-cgk.

I can see that there is a 777 operated once daily from MIA-DFW, and then the same 777 then returns to MIA about an hour after arrival in DFW.

My question is whether it is possible to book both of these flights on the same DONE3. I am aware that it is probably under MCT, but there is in reality no way of missing the flight, and I won't have any checked luggage.

If I was to book through the AA RTW desk, is there any way that they could force such a connection into the system?

Thanks for your help.

I would have thought that 1 hour would have easily met the MCT. The AA website seems to be happy enough to price the itinerary if booked on its own, so cannot see why it would be an issue

Thanks Dave.

I had assumed that it did not meet the MCT because it won't let me do it on the online booking tool. Does that mean that there is no way to do it on the booking tool, but I should be able to do it through the AA RTW desk?

Is there availability in A class for the flight on the date on which you wish to travel? If no, then you will not be successful in getting the ATW desk to do it; if there is availability, then booking via the ATW desk should then there should be no issues booking the flight

In my experience the MCT times in the online tool are often standard values and not real. So calling will often lead to better results.

By the way, from the thread title I thought you wanted to do a turnaround in MCT...

I know there is a code share but you would need the AA TATL for this.
