Flying 1st segments when there is a problem with segment 10

I will be flying ICN-NRT-ORD as part of the first 2 segments of a DONE3 soon.

I just got a phone call from AA RTW that my 10th segment ORD DME for next year is cancelled and I will need to fly through london and go to 17 segments and paper tickets, etc

Due to time constraints I opted (and AA seemed to be okay) to not do anything about paper tickets nor to fix the issue that ORD DME no longer exists now and fly ICN-NRT-ORD electronically. I will call AA at the end of the month to fix DME (and segments will be less then so they an do electronic tickets).

Do you think I will have any problems checking in ICN? (One time in London the system freaked out with something similar to this) Is my strategy a good strategy? Any other suggestions to see if I will have a problem in ICN?
