Changing Original Form of Payment - Is It Possible
Purchased a ticket on Delta.com for Northwest metal. In reviewing my credit card invoices, realized I charged this to the incorrect card. Now the issue is that this is a work credit card and personal charges are frowned upon. What, if any, are my options for reversing charges on the original form of payment and charging a different card? Date of travel is today - yikes.......
I tried the Delta web desk who was willing to reverse the charges, but claimed that Northwest must do this (though I don't understand why since it's an 006 ticket number). Transferred to Northwest and hit a brick wall.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

I think in theory it is possible. But in practice, as you found out, it will be a pain in the a@@.

I have never been succesful at changing the original form of payment. I have been threatened with change fees and fare differences. The easiest thing would be to do, of course, is pay back your company. Sorry I wasn't more helpful. Good luck!!!

012 tkt stock
There is a very simple process @NWA for changing the FOP on a 012 issued tkt...(orig tkt must have been issued by NW or NWA.COM only)....not agencies/Orbitz etc....
You call the NW agent, they contact their Supervisor who will send an email off along with the new FOP....There is a fee of $50 for this transaction, so you would really need to make it happen....But it definitely is possible and takes about 3 biz days to settle out....
Not all agents are aware, but all they need to do is to make a call to their Supervisor!
Not sure if DL has any similar process, but its doubtful
