Hi,

I was wondering what Class A exactly is.

I booked a business class award flight with NW (using frequent blue points) from AMS via MSP to Salt Lake City.

The e-ticket I got mailed lists class D for AMS MSP and class A for MSP to salt lake. No idea what class A is, it is not listed on the NW website and forum search did not help me either.

Anyone info (or a pointer)?

Thanks alot!

When you book a PerkSaver first class domestic award, it books into A class.

On NW, A class is the class for discounted award travel in domestic first class.

This may be a helpful guide: http://www.cwsi.net/nw.htm

"A" is also the bucket used for WorldPerks elite upgrades on domestic award tickets as well.

http://www.cwsi.net/nw.htm indeed provides all info. I was unaware of that site so additional kudo's to SchmutzigMSP for mentioning it!

When will Delta & NWA get the classes the same? Since A is different on the two.
