Switching FF info

I have a couple of NW flights coming up which were upgraded with NW miles.
Because of the current situation I want to change/update my FF info to my CO account. Will that work? Meaning I can book NW flights, upgrade with NW miles and then credit the miles to CO or any other ST member?
