Hoping it doesn't hit till late in the day. I was booked DLH-MSP-ATL-MSY tomorrow afternoon, switched it to a late morning/lunchtime DLH-MSP-MSY. Here's hoping it works out for all travellers tomorrow!

www.intellicast.com and www.weather.com are probably offering studied opinions.

Certainly nothing to get worked up about in DTW. Its winter and sunday is a relatively un-busy day. Weather.com is also not to gloomy. Do NW/DL know something we don't? Too low loads on certain flights which could be cancelled?

Could it be that flights are so full this weekend they are hoping some people will rebook to sometime after Monday out of fear and bolster what would otherwise be empty flights?

I'm on the 6:40am ORD-MSP in the morning and first class is fairly empty.

I'm doing BTV-DTW-MSP-RST tomorrow AM... think I should rebook? The last thing I want to do is get stuck in DTW, MSP would be so-so but unpleasant...

This one doesn't look too bad, though I wouldn't want to be out an about while there's freezing rain.

Last weekend saw 61 mph wind gusts and major power outages.

I live about 5 miles down the road from the airport and it's no problems at 10:40a, overcast skies but good visibility and a decent ceiling. Should be no problem for MSP arrivals right now.

The storm seems to be going on between the Twin Cities and the Duluth area.

I live 30 NW miles from the MSP airport. We've got freezing rain at the moment. My windshield was icy on my drive home from the store.
