Baggale Allowance

For Elite members, NWA allows two free bags, each 70 lbs. If one gets
an upgrade to first class (not original purchase), is one entitled to take three bags free? I received conflicting opinions from NWA -- the elite service center said yes, but the reservations agent said no, it goes with the type of ticket at the time of purchase. They give three bags free to elite members buying first class tickets, not on upgrades. Which si correct?

It appears that the allowance is based on booking class. Refer to the +footnote:

So for a ticket purchased Sept. 29th for travel Dec 26th, would I be allowed 2 50 lb bags or 2 70 lb bags?
