NW11to Tokyo diverted to Anchorage..drunk passenger
I was on NW11 on Tuesday...we were diverted to Anchorage because of a drunk passenger who was verbally abusing the FA's and walking around in his underwear.
Funny thing was he thought when we arrived in Anchorage that we were in Tokyo and he was out of his seat and ready to deboard before we landed. He was escorted out by the local police and then the FBI and police took statements from the passengers near him.
This happened in business class and I was told he was a Platinum.

I hear Anchorage is lovely this time of year!
I hope he enjoys his new alternate destination.
I hope it wasn't a member of our august forum. If it was, he hadn't filed his flight plans in the Itineraries calendar.

The captain talked to him..his reply was something along the line of "no one is telling me what to do". One of the FA's said NWA could go after him for the extra expense caused by his behavior.

Looks like he'll be in a different kind of "lounge" in ANC.

Did he complain about not getting his pre-arrival breakfast?

This had to be an expensive endeavor -- I imagine they had to dump a large quantity of fuel to land in Anchorage. I certainly hope NW goes after this guy.

Man, when I get drunk on planes, I just pass out. (It's why I drink on long-hauls...)
