Had a friend on this flight last night. Plane attempted to route around weather and ended up in a situation where cabin pressure was lost. An emergecy landing was made at Eau Claire.

Here's a log of the flight route http://flightaware.com/live/flight/NWA143

Had to be a scary one. Anyone ever have the oxygen mask experience before?

I wonder how long I could make that mask last. What's the average, 12 minutes of O2?

You'd be better off wondering how quickly you can get it on.

At 35K' your time of useful consciousness is about 30 seconds.
