The jewel of the fleet! Just finished a FOUR segment run to PIT and back (CMH) and felt wonderful in seat 2 B enjoying a glass of wine viewing dozens of USAir RJ's and propeller aircraft, one of which was a direct flight from PIT to CMH that would have saved me some time, but certainly not been as relaxing.

I just did a -10 yesterday DTW - CMH. Are these planes flown by 3 pilots? On arrival, when the cockpit door was opened, there were 3 pilots up front.

Also, seat 1 B was reserved for one of the flight attendents. Is that ususal on a DC9-10?

I've been on this plane twice in the past few weeks. The f/a seat next to the boarding door is broken and actually has a sign taped to it saying "not repairable" or something like that. As a result, the fa gets 1B when flying this particular aircraft.
