advice needed on whether to take Y or C class

Hi, I'm currently booked on a trip to Paris as follows:

Outbound is DTW - AMS on A330 in Business
AMS - CDG on KLM in Premium

I purchased B class and upgraded with miles.

Return is CDG - AMS on KLM in coach
AMS - DTW on A330 in coach.

I wanted to go through AMS so I could try out the new A330. This will also be my first time in NW WBC.

My question is do you think I should pay the extra money for round trip B class and upgrade to WBC on the return. I was checking I availability for this and there is none going through AMS, but if I went CDG - DTW it is showing I4. My ticket currently costs 683.48. I think to change to B class on the return the ticket price would be around 850.00.

My reservation hasn't ticketed yet, so I can still make changes.

Any thoughts on what I should do? How is the DC-10 WBC compared to coach A330?

Thanks.

My travel dates are 02/18 - 02/24

If it was me, I'd go WBC, no question.

That depends on if you think the price difference is worth sitting with your knees in your chest or if you prefer sitting in a lay-z-boy style recliner?

I'd go for the lay-z-boy.

You've convinced me. Just changed flight and upgraded to WBC. Will now be returning on DC-10 in WBC CDG - DTW.

Thanks everyone!!
