Missing WP miles.

I am missing two sets of WP. mile.
One on a same day turnaround trip to Tampa, only one way posted.
Another where I was rerouted because of the weather. Do I call or email them.
These missing miles would put me over 75000 for Platinum.

Thanks for any advice.
Casey.

Personally, whe I had this happen to me, I wrote a letter requesting mileage credit and attached copies of the boarding passes. I also waited about a month before writing.

The miles posted to my account within a week.

I've never had a problem getting mileage credited using the discrepancy report function on the website. Just be sure to have your ticket number and fill out the form:

I had a same day round trip and called the WP service center when only one way posted. The rep said "the computer sometimes doesn't like that" and said he'd put in a request for the miles to post. He said I should expect to see them in a few days. I'm not too worried as NW has proved to me time and time again to be eager to earn my business through great customer service. I recently used the BUMP program to switch a CO flight over to a NW one. The flight posted as a CO codeshare even though it wasn't actually one. I sent in a fax with my boarding passes and the service center switched them to NW flights (so I could receive Mile-A-Rama credit) AND posted them at full Y/F fares to thank me for giving NW the marginal revenue. Thanks NW!

I've had this happen when I was flying several segments for a mileage run in the midwest. I called the elite line and was told that "to and from on the same day show up as duplicate flights on the computer sometimes". Anyway, bottom line I got credit but had to fax in my boarding pass.
Lesson learned, always keep your boarding passes for these type of flights until the miles post.

The NW website has worked pretty well for me, but I have also sent e-mails on the website to help move things along (e.g., when it was over 3 weeks that my miles on a CO-codeshare didn't post -- and it wasn't even a same-day turnaround).

And yes, definitely always keep the boarding passes!
