NW808 Question

Hey everyone, ill be flying on NW808 on March 27, 2008 and I was informed that there will be a schedule change. On NWA.com under reservations its not showing up the equipment type and it wont let me reserve or change my seats. Im just wondering if this flight is still on an A330-300 and if there is a chance it will change into a 757 or a flight that stops. Thanks

Are the times different, maybe?
Can a 757 make it from HNL to MSP without stopping?
I think you're OK!! I'm sure that the Hawai'i regulars and residents will chime in as to their thoughts.

They would never sub a 757 on that route, do to range, capacity, and the lack of spares. Very rarely you might see a 747.

Now that there are multiple 330 flights into HNL, I suppose you could see other swaps (like the daylight SEA flight shifting to a 757). But even that seems unlikely given how tightly utilized the 757-300s are (which remains my explanation for why we have 330 service on SEA-HNL in the first place).

All this does remind me of how painful it was a few years ago when they transitioned from DC-10s to 757s on the West Coast-Hawaii routes. Equipment in and out of Seattle would change multiple times in the weeks and sometimes days before flights.
