Upgrade Question
It looks like I may be taking my first non US trip next week--NW was much less expensive. The question is--how successful is a Gold Elite at upgrading on a K fare?
Some of the trip is in Y. Is that almost a guaranteed upgrade?
I might actually like this.....

Most Gold elites have reported extremely high upgrade succeess rates ... however, YMMV... I flew a CO flight (as an NW Platinum, I'm on a streak of 28 mainline CO flights without an upgrade) between CLE and EWR -- my upgrade failed and there was less than a half-dozen persons in the back...
