EQM on NW

I am usually use my AS Mileage Plan #'s when I fly NW so I am new to this (please forgive my ignorance.)

I am thinking about using my WP# for all transcon flights now and earning WP Silver or Gold. Alaska has made some changes to their plan as of today that does not motivate me to be an AS MVPG.

Anyway, has anyone ever experienced problems getting eqm's on cheaper NW fares IE: V or K? I am curious if you always need to be carefull of fares for EQM's.

Thanks!

You do get 1 EQM for every mile on V&K fares, though these fares do not count towards elite qualifications by segments.

If you are going to try and qualify for elite this year on trans-cons, then no problem. As you see with the AS changes, you never know what "enhancements" (sorry to borrow a CO phrase) NW may have for Worldperks for 2004.
