Here is an example of a post that tried to deny all circumstances and It was not deliberate misinformation. It's also a matter of principle. When an amount is mentioned without any qualification I expect it to be honoured. If people can say one thing and then switch it later on, the entire point of asking is lost.

I have no problems with the airline not agreeing to upgrade B, which was a mistake fare, like the one that was offered for OTP, although one can argue that he airline must honour it.
