Refunding Fare Differences
I purchased a ticket from BWI-SAN several months ago. Using a cert, I booked it at 268. Now for the same dates (different return flight) it's 211.50. I would happily take the different return flight if it meant saving me the 50 bucks. I called NW and they told me that there was nothing they could do to help me since it was a different flight and my current flight is pricing at 311.50 right now. They said if I want to take an earlier flight that I'd have to pay the 100.00 change fee since it's already e-ticketed. I'm a non-elite. Is there any way I can make up the $50+ difference? I realize that 50 bucks isn't that much, but I'm on a serious budget. I even asked if I can get the difference in a service voucher than a refund and they said no. any ideas???
Thanks!
Thanks!

You got what you felt was a good deal - stick with the deal you made.
