Am I dreaming or did I see something about double EQM?
Before I left on a 3 week vacation in May, I seem to recall seeing a mailing or email said flights this summer would earn double elite qualifying miles. However, I can't locate the particular letter/email that I thought I saw. I remember just glancing at it and thinking, "Wow - that will be nice when I'm back from vacation because I'm due to have a heavy travel schedule this summer."
Am I dreaming or am I mixing it up with some other offer (having not fully read the document, as I recall)?
I've searched this site but couldn't locate any threads. Thanks for any insight.

Maybe you were dreaming about this one:
Bonus for Elite Qualifying Miles
Northwest Airlines is adding a new benefit that will enhance your Elite qualification opportunities. Starting June 1, 2003, every time you fly on Y fares in Economy class you will earn an additional 50% mileage bonus that counts towards Elite qualification. Not only do these fares offer you greater flexibility, they also will make earning Elite status that much faster. This 50% mileage bonus applies only towards Elite qualification, and not towards your WorldPerks account available mileage balance.

Thanks, FromYXU...
Not quite the 100% I was dreaming about, but still OK. Glad to see I'm not completely crazy! I fly mostly Y fares due to last minute bookings, so this will be nice.

Maybe you were remembering the "double Mile-a-palooza point in May"?

could be... but unfortunately (fortunately?) I was on vacation for most of May, so couldn't partake in the double mile-a-palooza goodness that month.
