GiftCertificates.com SuperCertificates

Can I avoid shipping charges by ordering and redeeming a SuperCertificate for merchant certificates?

Looking through GiftCertificates.com text it looks like I can order a SuperCertificate, redeem it for the merchant certificates that I want with "free standard shipping."

I have not ordered a SuperCertificate, so I do not know how it works. I would love to avoid their shipping fees. Do SuperCerts earn the same 3 WP points that merchant certs earn? Can I order SuperCerts for me or only as a gift?

Thanks!

1- Yes, if you get a Super Cert by e-mail, you can get free standard shipping on merchant certs.

2- As far as I know any purchase at GC earns 3pts/$.

3- You can buy them for whomever you want, including yourself.

There are promo codes for them from time to time. I just used one that expired on 2-22-03. Search the net before you buy.

Also, be aware that they aren't always fast. Seems that nothing happens on Sat-Sun, so if you are in a hurry, you're out of luck.

I've ordered a few SuperCertificates, and they've always come in e-mail within an hour or so.

Thanks, Randy, for the tip about the promos. I just did a quick search and found no current promo codes; but I may try them anyway. I will go ahead and buy a SuperCert and redeem for preferred merchant certs--to avoid the shipping charges.

The promo was a $10 SuperCert with any $75 purchase. Code SMDR0103 I think...in case it still works. However, you cannot use the promo and use a partner site (ie NW), but a $10 SS is better than 225 miles.
